    Graal or Portrait of Faust as a Young Man, Based on Brazil's best known poet, Haroldo de Campos text from 1952, fully conceived for the stage by Gerald Thomas, with music by Michelle Dibucci. Opened at the Carlos Gomes Theater (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) on October 2, 1997. In the cast, Bete Coelho, Luiz Damasceno and students from CAL. Sets by Antonio Dias.

    A world premiere opera by Detlef Heusinger,conceived and directed by Gerald Thomas,now at the Mannheim Oper (Deutsches National Theater) until end of October.

    		Trilogy of the B.E.A.S.T., by Gerald Thomas, opened in Copenhagen in May and in Argentina in October.

    Documentary by TV Cultura , including all of the works by Gerald Thomas, aired in May and another documentary by NDR3, Germany, aired in august.

    Empire of Half Truths, by Gerald Thomas, with the Dry Opera Company,opened in Rio and played 12 cities in Braziland around the world.

    1992
    The Flash and Crash Days, was performed at Lincoln Center, New York, during the Serious Fun Festival; and in Hamburg at the Kampnagel Fabrik, Cologne, Lausanne and Copenhagen. It was broadcast in full by NDR 3, German TV. (04)

    The Flash and Crash Days , by Gerald Thomas, with legendary Brazilian actress Oscar nominated Fernanda Montenegro and her daughter, Fernanda Torres, opens in Rio (this piece toured 14 cities worldwide.) (05)

    M.O.R.T.E. 2, opened at Taormina Festival, Italy and at Zürich's Rote Fabrik. The piece also toured Brazil.

    The Said Eyes of Karleinz Öhl, dby Gerald Thomas, commissioned by the Festival of Volterra, Italy, with the Picolo Teatro of Pontedera.

    Esperando Godot, dby Samuel Beckett, for the Residenz Theater, Münich.

    The Kafka Trilogy: A process ; A Metamorphosis ; Praga. This trilogy opened in Brazil and was also performed at La Mama, New York City and at the Wiener Festwochen, where it was presented as the main attraction and braodcast in its entirety on Austrian national television, ORF. An extended world tour of "The Kafka Trilogy" followed in 1989. (10)

    The Flying Dutchman (O Navio Fantasma). The Richard Wagner opera opened at Teatro Municipal, in Rio de Janeiro, amidst great controversy. Cast included Sabine Haas and other international opera singers.
