London's young face

On the covers - they are two - first a man and then a woman. Talking on the wired phone . In the old-fashioned way? Natural or artificial? Photographed or Drawn? Humans or Virtual? One of the fashion editorials also plays with the opposites ( would they still be really opposites? ) . Female and male, past and future, old and new... The look of the 20th anniversary issue of The Face (May), right in 2000, wouldn't let these relevant questions aside.

And the filling doesn't leave much to be desired! Besides the magazine retrospective, the editorial And all my clothes fell off doesn't intend to sell anything besides its own photographs - and some pairs of glasses and shoes... Models like, the Brazilian Anna Cláudia, Marianna W. and Carolina Ribeiro, also Shalom Harlow and Eva Herzigova accepted to pose - just with their shoes on - for the project which will revert founds for the Blind's Sunshine Fund., helping the blind children.

Not so naked - but only dressed with a bikini made of pieces of Face's - Gisele Bündchen is also in this edition, photographed by David Lachapele. This is the present that both took to the anniversary . And in bed has the remembrance of Stella McCartney, Lou Reed, Tony Blair, Kate Moss, Juergen Teller, Patrick Cox, Mario Testino and many others. Alexandre McQueen offers his head on a plate...Unlosable!
