Dunkirk, France. February, 1998. Carnival time - one month and a half of festivities and parades. The city goes wild, but not all join the fun.

Following a violent argument with his parents, young Larbi decides to leave home and to start anew in life far from there. In his last night in the town where he was born and grew up, he seeks shelter in the hall of a building. In the dawn, he is disturbed by Béa and Christian, a couple returning from a dance, in a mood for revelry.

Attracted by Béa, Larbi decides to stay on for a few days there and try his luck with her.

Only a carnival mood would render this type of encounter possible. The boy discovers a universe hitherto unknown to him. Two worlds collide, three lives that are about to be changed.
