Rosário is seduced and abandoned by her boyfriend and furthermore, subjected to abuse from the master of her dying father. Misfortune holds sway. Her father dies and Rosário is driven to prostitution. One day, on the docks, a sailor saves her from a drunk, and they go off to spend the night together. On the next day, Rosário kills herself when she discovers she has slept with her own brother.
