Fifth Dogma-95 film and the first to be made in France, according to the precepts of the Danish movement begun by Lars Von Trier and Thomas Vinterberg. This is a love story with the city of Paris for a setting.

A Yugoslavian painter, age 25, falls in love with a Parisian the same age who works in a book store. How they meet, the first time they go out together, the joy of discovering passion, all is shown in an almost documental form, following in the footsteps of the couple.

Happiness is theirs until the police discover the boy is living illegally in France: he must leave the country in three days. They decide to defy the law and stay together even though they must remain hidden. These conditions jeopardize the love between them both, even though at some times they do actually enjoy moments of peace and freedom.
