London,
October 13, 1993. England is to play Holland in a crucial game of football,
in the preliminaries for the World Cup. The Bosnia war is at its height.
Serbia is under siege, and the United Nations is preparing to intervene.
An anarchic comedy is about to begin.
In London,
a Croate and a Serbian meet by chance in a bus. They recognize each other
as refugees from the same village, but on different sides of the Yugoslav
war. As from this point, both embark on an endless struggle, hunting down
each other through the streets of London reproducing what is taking place
in ex-Yugoslavia. In this case, however, the conflict between both friends
eventually precipitates amusing situations.
In the course
of the dispute, the lives of four English families are affected in different
ways by an encounter with the refugees.
