A man and a woman meet at the first meeting for a group addicted to sex. She is Miranda, editor of a night radio program who uses her morning outings to walk her dog for sexual encounters with every type of man imaginable. He is Javier, a talented script-writer and film producer, bound to a sick relationship over the telephone with a mysterious woman who describes to him all of her sexual adventures. They feel attracted to each other right from the first encounter, but decide to carry through the precepts of group therapy to control sexual impulses.

     After the meeting, they go out for dinner and embark on a whirl of mystery and revelation. Miranda is recognized and insulted by the waiter in the restaurant with whom she had sex in a park. Javier stands by her and goes along with her to the radio broadcasting station where the sound technician identifies his voice. He discovers that his erotic conversations have been recorded and sold all over Madrid. Both feel mutual compassion as regards their problems. Desire is stronger than therapy. They go into an old Dodge Dart abandoned on a street corner and try to console each other with pleasure. The game of mistakes has but begun, culminating with the corpse of a man found in the same car the following day..
