A court drama that broaches issues present in a multicultural society where traditional beliefs may trigger some tragedy.

A city lawyer is before a strange case involving a poor boy from a rural village in Zululand who kills a child of one year of age. The boy assassin was of the belief that the baby was a spirit of evil, known in South Africa as Tikoloshe.

Obscure secrets, hidden in his innermost, connect the lawyer to the boy. When he takes on the case, the lawyer is immersed in a world of witchcraft and mysticism to find the truth regarding the crime and regarding himself.
