Based on a novel by Alexander Stuart, The War Zone exposes the dynamics of an English family, where traumas lie hidden under the surface.

     This is apparently a normal family with trite everyday problems. On driving deeper into this routine, however, one discovers that tragedy and suffering are everywhere. They have just moved to a house close to London in the country. Tom, the fifteen-year-old son is upset about the move, whereas his sister Jessie, aged eighteen, seems more at home in her new ambience. The mother spends all day taking care of the third child who is still a baby. And the father tries his best to keep everyone happy.
