Born in Rio de Janeiro and studied screenplay in the Escuela International de Cine y TV in Cuba, moved on to direct and write shorts and documentaries. Luna de Miel, in 1993, was the winner of the Coral Prize of Best Short/Documentary at the Festival de Havana. The following year, wrote and directed the short Dente por Dente, which won her the prizes of Best Director and Screenplay at the Brasília Festival. Four for None is her first feature film.
