Born in Buenos Aires, in 1961. Since very young he devoted himself to cinema, making the celebrated El Hombre que Ganó la Razón (1986), when he was 25 years old. Considered one of the most original directors of Latin America, a retrospective of his films were exhibited at the 16th Mostra, which included: Love is a Fat Woman (1987), Casamento Secreto (1989), Luba ( 1990), Livraria do Amor (1991), Everybody Wants to Help Ernest (1991) and Modern Crimes (1992). In 1993, he directed El Acto em Cuestión (exhibited at the 18th Mostra) and, soon after it, El Viento se Llevo Lo Que (1998), exhibited at the 23rd Mostra. His latest works are A Night with Sabrina Love (2000) and Valentín (2002), awarded in several film festivals.
