And so, to the magic of cinema
The number of dreams and ideas that may be contained in a single frame on film is impressive.
In "Giant", the film directed by George Stevens in 1956, we are aware that this small space was sufficient to create immortal myths. No one would doubt, today, that unassuming James Dean, only the third in line on the cast and preceded by sames such as Elizabeth Taylor and Rock Hudson, would become the giant of the original title, even though he died before the film was released.
Cinema is so, and this is the magic of film. Cinema creates heroes that are larger than life and creates myths.
By taking part in the 29th São Paulo International Film Festival, Bombril is returning the affection the company has always been granted by Brazilian consumers.
Aware of its social responsibility, the company is today part of Mostra and is, concomitantly, bestowing on the people of São Paulo, a new venue for leisure and culture - Cine Bombril. On Av. Paulista, in Conjunto Nacional, this landmark in the city will lend scope to more national and Latin productions, in addition to being a democratic venue open to films of every nationality.
Bombril is proud to be able to present these two gifts to São Paulo, the city where the brandname originated and developed. Over the course of the years, no doubt, together, Mostra and Cine Bombril are most surely to reaffirm the dimensions of many a film to come.
