Born on April 6, 1972, in Denmark. He completed a program for script writing at the National School of Cinema in Denmark, and, when he was still a student, wrote his first script for television. He began professionally in 1996, with short films, with a nomination to the Oscar for Ernst & Lyset. He only won the prize, however, in 1999, with a short film, Valgaften. He wrote several scripts and made his first film as director in the year 2000, Blinkend lygter. Adam's Apples was awarded a prize at the Hamburg Festival. He was part of the 24th Mostra as script writer for The King is Alive, by Kristian Levring.
