Born in 1967, in Brig, Switzerland. He majored in cinema in 1995, by the Geneva School of Fine Arts. He founded Laika Films with five other film makers, in 1993. As from 2002, he has been a member of the Federal Cinema Commission. He founded the Blow Up Film Production in 2003. He became President of the Association of Swiss Film Makers, in 2005.
