Born in Buenos Aires, in 1961. He devoted himself to cinema from an early age, and when he was 25, made O Homem que Ganhou a Razão (1986). Considered one of the most original directors in Latin America, he was honored with a retrospective of his films at the 16th Mostra including: Love is a Fat Woman (1987), Casamento Secreto (1989), Luba (1990), Livraria do Amor (1991), Everyone Wants to Help Ernest (1991), and Modern Crimes (1992). In 1993, he directed The Act in Question (shown at the 18th Mostra) and, soon after, With with the Gone (1998), part of the 23rd Mostra. Other films are A Night with Sabrina Love (2000) and Valentin (2002).
