Born in São Paulo in 1959. He studied cinema at the School of Communication and Arts of the University of São Paulo. He has worked as a technician in feature films, short films, documentaries and advertisements. He has directed and written the following films: A Marvada Carne (1986, 18th Mostra) and Savage Capitalism (1884, 18th Mostra).
