Angel Giordano, an angel that was in heaven, is sent to earth to start a new life in Poland. He will have permission to return only if he can live with optimism. He spends two years with a family and is ready to move on to the next stage. He loses his powers as an angel, but, as compensation, he acquires virility. However, his loss causes him to have a nervous breakdown, and he begins therapy with Roma. He falls in love and discovers that love can make him happier on earth than any angel in heaven.
