Hala Alabdalla

Hala Alabdalla . Born in Hama, Syria, in 1956. Studied science and sociology in Syria and in Paris. Since 1985, she has devoted herself to cinema and worked in Syria, in the Lebanon, and in France, co-producing, co-writing and co-directing fiction and documentaries. In 1998, she made a documentary, Fawk Arraml, Tahta Acchams.

Ammar Al Beik

Ammar Al Beik . Born in Damascus, Syria in 1972. He began his career in 1997. His work includes short films Light Harvest (1997), They Were Here (2000), The River of Gold (2002), 16mm (2002), Boulevard Al Assad (2002), My Ear Can See (2002), When I Color My Fish (2002) and a medium-length film, Clapper (2003). I Am the One Who Brings Flowers to Her Grave is his first feature as co-director.
