A Summer Day (2006)
France
Sébastian and Mickaël, teenagers living in a small town, are great friends. Sébastien is in doubt about his sexuality and tries to stifle the attraction he feels for his friend - up until the time he catches Mickaël in the act of making love to a girl. Next day, in a game of football, Mickaël dies after the gol post beam on which he is hanging, gives way under his weight. The town mayor is indicted owing to the peculiar circumstances around the accident and the dramatic outcome for the victim. But it is Sébastien who may well have the key to what, in fact, happened there.
