Verses by Manuel Bandeira, read by the poet himself, accompany and transfigure everyday gestures in his routine, in a small apartment in the center of Rio de Janeiro: the humble surroundings of his home, solitude, an encounter as a result of a telephone call, the morning walk along the streets of the neighborhood. Filmmaker and playwright Domingos de Oliveira was assistant director.
