Israel Cárdenas - After some film studies and work experience, he founded in 2001the independent film production company Blueberry Films. He directed and photographed several projects, ranging from music videos and TV spots to documentaries and short films, like Osito, Padre y Hijo, Donato y los Sicarios, and Zapatos Rojos. In 2005, he co-produced the short Primavera-Verano. Cochochi is his first feature film.
Laura Amelia Guzmán - She was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and attended the International Film and Television School in Cuba. She acted as cinematographer for several shorts, like La Frontera (2003), Hijo de Tigre (2004), and Antesala (2004), by Brazilian filmmaker Pedro Carneiro. In 2003 she directed the short El Paciente de la Uno and in 2005 the documentary Las Ultimas Horas de un Cerdo. Cochochi is her first feature.
