He was born in Chihuahua, Mexico, in 1972. Between 1991 and 1996 he studied Cinema in Paris and got a Mastership in Audiovisuals and Cinematographic Studies, with specialization in Direction and Screenwriting. In 1998 he founded the production company Cinta Negra and participates since then in numerous audiovisual projects. Used Parts is his first feature and it won the Best First Feature Film Award at the Guadalajara International Film Festival.
