He was born in 1973. His first work at cinema was the screenplay for the film Tzur Hadassim, by Gideon Kolirin (24th Mostra), for which he won the Lipper Award for best screenplay at the 1999 Jerusalem International Film Festival. In 2004, he wrote and directed the TV movie The Long Journey. The Band’s Visit is his first feature film.
