He was born in Chaumontel, France 1949. Actor, director, and script writer, he made documentaries for television at the start of his career. Directed his first feature, Faux Fuyants, in 1983, followed by L`Autre Nuit (1988), Cinéma de notre temps: Takeshi Kitano, l`Imprévisible (1999) and the selected Tokyo Eyes (22th Mostra), Novo (26th Mostra) and Carmen (29th Mostra).
