São Paulo, today. Coroner Arthur is given to imagining fictitious causae mortis for people who are alive. His imagination goes further yet when he is brought a body found in a common grave together with the bones of victims of the military regimen. By the marks, Arthur believes that the body has kept intact for thirty years. He decides to investigate and meets Fernanda, a girl who is identical to the body. Together they live out a day, battling to find the true identity of the body.
