Two parallel selections dispute for attention every year in Cannes, with selections as diversified and interesting as the competition. Many times the films in DIRECTOR’S FORTNIGHT and the CRITICS’ WEEK will have a career. It is from their selections that most of the times come the Caméra d’Or awards, granted to first film directors.

The selection of the 40th DIRECTOR’S FORTNIGHT presents the following selection of feature films:
