When I got off the Kart, when my third racing class ended, I asked: "When is the next race? Where do I buy the chassis? Where do I buy the motor, the overalls, the helmet? Who's going to tune the motor? WHO'S GOING TO PAINT MY HELMET? I heard the answer i wanted right away: "SID MOSCA" At last one of my dreams would come true. My helmet being painted by SID MOSCA!

      I called his workshop and ALAN MOSCA answered. I explained what I wanted and what I did not want. Without defining any kind of design. All I defined was the colors: blue and yellow.

      ALAN told me later that as soon as he hang up he designed a helmet for me. When SID arrived, he put the final touches on the design. When I went to their shop to see the design, I was fascinated! How could they have understood so well what I had imagined?

      As to the colors... they convinced me that fluorescent pink would be good for me. Not because pink is a woman's color, but because that color was a new one being launched, and it's a color that goes well with radical sports. So I gave them liberty to create what they wanted. Well, I simply L-O-V-E my helmet. It would be prejudice not to accept that pink color...
